Social media has become an integral part of our lives, with approximately 5.65 million users in Libya. In the era of globalization and digitalization, it holds significant importance. Social media offers numerous benefits, including connecting us with people from diverse countries and cultures, providing information and entertainment, and enhancing our creativity. However, it also comes with drawbacks, such as exposing us to fake content and misinformation, compromising our privacy and security, and impacting our mental health and well-being.

In the upcoming session hosted by the Dialogue & Debate Association (DDA) on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023, at 5:00 PM at our headquarter in Misrata, we will discuss a fascinating and relevant topic: the impact of social media on our lives. During the session, we will share our personal experiences and opinions regarding the use of social media. We aim to address the most controversial questions surrounding this subject. We hope this session will help you improve your English speaking skills while increasing your awareness and understanding of the influence of social media on our lives.
